Course Objective & Scope
Power Platform accelerates UI and workflow delivery, while Azure provides heavy compute, enterprise API mediation, asynchronous messaging and centralized secrets management. Combining both in a fusion development architecture lets teams scale low-code solutions without compromising enterprise engineering standards.
Participants expose Azure Functions through Azure API Management (APIM) as custom connectors, stream Dataverse events to Azure Service Bus and Event Grid, secure secrets in Azure Key Vault, configure VNet connectivity and monitor telemetry in Application Insights.
Who Should Attend?
- Solution architects designing hybrid architectures across
Power PlatformandAzure - .NET and Azure developers building reusable APIs, custom connectors and backend services for low-code teams
- Technical specialists working with PL-400 and PL-600 pro-developer extensibility patterns
- Prerequisite: working knowledge of Power Platform (Dataverse/Power Automate) and foundational Azure/API skills
Key Takeaways
- Publish
Azure FunctionsandAPIMAPIs into Power Platform via OpenAPI custom connectors - Secure integrations using Entra ID OAuth2,
Managed IdentitiesandAzure Key Vaultenvironment variables - Publish
Dataversebusiness events toAzure Service Bus, Event Grid and webhook consumers - Connect smoothly to private networks using
Azure VNetintegration and On-premises Data Gateways - Implement telemetry with
Application Insightsand automate ALM pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub
