What is on-premise AI?

On-premise AI means the models and the data run on the organization's own infrastructure instead of the cloud. Questions, documents and answers never leave the corporate network, and capacity is fixed and known. RuneBox delivers this infrastructure as a ready-made box installed on site; RuneDesk and RuneGate can run on it too.

Does our data really never leave the company?

Yes. The LLMs, document reading and the index run on the box, on your company network. Questions, documents and answers are not sent to cloud providers; no outside connection is needed to produce answers.

Which applications run on it?

Out of the box, the RuneDesk document assistant and the RuneGate LLM gateway; your own RAG and agent flows as needed. The setup is designed in the discovery call around the architecture that fits your workflows best.

How is capacity set, and what if it is not enough?

Capacity is sized in the discovery call to your user count, concurrent usage and data volume. If usage grows, capacity is re-planned together; there is no charge that varies with usage.

What does it offer for BDDK and KVKK?

Because data is processed inside the company boundary, your BDDK and KVKK assessments become easier; no data is transferred abroad or to third parties. Compliance is your organization's own assessment; RuneBox provides the architecture that makes it easier and gives no legal undertaking.

How does the commercial model work?

You work with a fixed, known capacity rather than per-use pricing, so the cost is predictable. How the hardware is provided, the contract term and the capacity-based fee are settled in the discovery call and written into the quote.

How are maintenance and updates handled?

Installation is done by the RuneLab team. Model and software updates are planned with your organization and carried out on site or through an access method you approve; corporate data does not leave the box during that process.

Can we run our own model or agent flow?

Yes. RuneBox is set up for you; alongside RuneDesk, your organization's own RAG flows, agents and the open-source models you choose can run on the same box.

Does RuneGate run on the box?

Yes. RuneGate can be installed on-premise on the box: your applications connect to a single OpenAI-compatible endpoint, requests are routed to the local models on the box, and team budgets and request logs stay on the company network.
