Course Objective & Scope
In most projects the risk log is filled in at the start and then forgotten. This course turns risk into a living management tool: identifying risks and opportunities (brainstorming, SWOT, assumption analysis, pre-mortem), prioritising with a probability-impact matrix, expected monetary value and the basics of Monte Carlo thinking, avoid, mitigate, transfer and accept strategies, risk ownership and triggers.
Participants build a risk register and response plan together on a case drawn from the organisation's projects and leave with a reusable risk checklist and register template.
