Course Objective & Scope

Multi-site enterprise networks and data centres require sophisticated routing policies, dual-ISP resilience and hitless failover mechanisms. Covering CCNP Enterprise (ENCOR and ENARSI) topics, this advanced programme addresses the design, configuration and deep troubleshooting of large-scale networks.

Multi-area OSPF and EIGRP tuning, eBGP/iBGP and path attributes, route maps and redistribution, VRFs, MPLS L3VPN, DMVPN/IPsec, SD-WAN and SD-Access architecture, and Python/NETCONF automation are practised in lab scenarios. Participants validate designs and resolve faults on an enterprise core topology.

Who Should Attend?

  • Senior network engineers and enterprise network architects
  • Data centre, service provider or WAN operations teams
  • Network specialists preparing for the CCNP Enterprise exams
  • Prerequisite: CCNA-level routing and switching experience

Key Takeaways

  • Configure summarisation, stub areas and fast convergence in multi-area OSPF and EIGRP
  • Implement BGP peering and traffic engineering across Internet and WAN links
  • Prevent routing loops using route maps, prefix lists and controlled redistribution
  • Design secure multi-tenant WAN topologies with VRFs, GRE/IPsec, DMVPN and SD-WAN
  • Harden and monitor the core with CoPP, AAA, 802.1X and telemetry/NETCONF tools

Curriculum

Advanced Campus Switching and High Availability
  • MST (802.1s), RPVST+ tuning and L2 security (DAI, DHCP Snooping)
  • Fast failure detection with HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, SSO, NSF and BFD
Advanced IGP: Multi-Area OSPF and EIGRP
  • OSPF LSA types, stub/NSSA areas, summarisation and authentication
  • EIGRP named mode, stub routing and unequal-cost load balancing
BGP, Policy-Based Routing and Redistribution
  • eBGP/iBGP peering, route reflectors and BGP path selection (Weight, Local Pref, AS-Path, MED)
  • Prefix lists, route maps, PBR and mutual route redistribution
WAN, Virtualisation and Overlay Architectures
  • VRF-Lite, MPLS L3VPN concepts, GRE and DMVPN/IPsec
  • Cisco SD-WAN (vManage, vSmart, vBond) and SD-Access architecture
