Course Objective & Scope
Navigating hundreds of AWS services, setting up secure networking and permissions, and avoiding surprise cloud bills all require a solid foundation. This course provides a practical introduction to core AWS compute, networking, storage, database and security services.
Regions and Availability Zones, IAM policies and roles, VPC/Subnet/Security Group design, EC2, Auto Scaling, ECS and Lambda options, S3 storage classes, RDS Multi-AZ and DynamoDB, CloudWatch alarms and AWS Cost Explorer/Budgets are explored hands-on. Participants design a baseline AWS architecture and checklist for a sample workload.
Who Should Attend?
- Software developers, system administrators and DevOps engineers new to AWS
- IT specialists, analysts and technical project managers involved in cloud migration
