Course Objective & Scope

In most enterprises, delivery teams work iteratively while budget approvals, vendor contracts, compliance and executive reporting still demand milestone predictability. This course focuses on how the project manager role evolves in agile and hybrid environments: choosing the delivery life cycle, managing fixed budgets with flexible scope, probabilistic forecasting with story points and throughput, cross-team dependency and risk management, agile contracting and PMO alignment.

Working on a real enterprise case, participants design a hybrid governance model, a release roadmap and an executive visibility dashboard.

Who Should Attend?

  • Project and programme managers leading agile or hybrid initiatives
  • PMO managers and traditional project managers transitioning to agile delivery
  • Delivery Managers and technical leads accountable for multi-team releases
  • Basic project management or Scrum knowledge is recommended

Key Takeaways

  • Design a predictive, agile or hybrid delivery model based on project uncertainty and compliance needs
  • Run rolling-wave planning under fixed deadline and budget constraints
  • Resolve cross-team dependencies and impediments through servant leadership rather than micromanagement
  • Translate velocity, burnup and flow metrics into executive milestone and budget reporting
  • Structure agile-friendly vendor contracts and acceptance models
