Course Objective & Scope
Traditional RPA and rigid rule-based workflows break whenever they encounter unstructured inputs, edge cases or multi-step reasoning. This academy teaches teams how to redesign business processes as hybrid systems combining deterministic rules, LLM steps and tool-calling AI agents—covering process decomposition, orchestration with n8n, Power Automate, Copilot Studio and LangGraph, Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors, RAG knowledge grounding, human-in-the-loop approval gates and runtime guardrails.
Across the academy modules, participants select an operational workflow from their organisation, architect the agentic state flow and exception handling, and deliver a tested prototype with a production readiness checklist.
Who Should Attend?
- Business process automation, RPA, digital transformation and operational excellence teams
- Enterprise solution architects, business analysts and low-code/pro-code builders
- Operations, customer service, finance and supply chain leads sponsoring automation initiatives
- Cross-functional product pods bridging IT and business units on agentic workflows
Key Takeaways
- Decide which steps in a process belong to deterministic rules, single LLM calls or autonomous agent loops
- Design single- and multi-agent architectures incorporating planning, memory, tool calling and MCP integrations
- Build working agentic workflows in Copilot Studio, n8n or Power Automate connected to enterprise APIs and knowledge bases
- Enforce least-privilege tool permissions, loop/budget caps and human-in-the-loop approval checkpoints
- Evaluate and monitor agent workflows for task completion accuracy, latency, token cost and escalation rates
Curriculum
From RPA to Agentic Automation: Process Selection and Redesign
