Course Objective & Scope
Business analysts often wait for IT to supply data for a report, or struggle to specify their data needs precisely. Starting from relational database concepts, the programme teaches SELECT, WHERE, JOIN types, GROUP BY, subqueries, CTEs and basic window functions through business questions.
In the second part, SQL queries are connected to Power BI, and a decision-support report is built with Power Query preparation, a simple star schema and basic DAX measures. Participants answer a realistic business question end to end, from query to dashboard.
