Course Objective & Scope
As report counts and data volumes grow, slow models, uncontrolled workspaces and duplicated measures become typical Power BI problems. This advanced programme covers advanced DAX and context transition, calculation groups, field parameters, RLS/OLS, incremental refresh, composite models and DirectQuery scenarios.
Using Performance Analyzer, DAX Studio and Tabular Editor, participants find bottlenecks in a realistic model and discuss deployment pipelines and workspace governance. The work concludes with an optimisation report and checklist on a case resembling the organisation's own model.
