Course Objective & Scope
Excel row limits, sluggish formulas and reports rebuilt by hand every month make Python a natural next step for Excel users. The programme covers two routes together: analysis with built-in Python in Excel (the =PY function) and reading and writing Excel files with pandas in a Jupyter environment.
Participants combine multiple Excel files, group and pivot with pandas, generate formatted reports with openpyxl and use AI coding assistants to support code writing. The result is a report automation script the organisation can reuse.
