Course Objective & Scope

Energy companies make high-stakes decisions across plant availability, renewable generation and imbalance management, grid losses, field safety and frequent EPDK regulatory updates. This programme covers both predictive models (load, price, wind/solar yield and predictive maintenance) and generative AI applications across plant and grid fault logs, technical tenders, EPDK board decisions and HSE reporting.

Participants work on a case from their own segment (generation, trading, distribution or retail), producing an operational AI use-case charter, a regulatory/document query template and a critical-infrastructure safety checklist.

Who Should Attend?

  • Thermal, hydro, wind and solar power plant operations and maintenance managers
  • Energy trading, portfolio management, forecasting and settlement teams
  • Electricity and natural-gas distribution/retail operations, grid and CX managers
  • Regulatory affairs (EPDK), strategy, HSE and digital transformation leads in energy

Key Takeaways

  • Distinguish the roles of time-series ML models and LLM-based assistants across generation, trading and grids
  • Extract root causes and recurring fault patterns from plant/grid logs and maintenance work orders
  • Run rapid obligation and gap analyses across EPDK regulations, grid codes and PPA/supply contracts
  • Prepare permit-to-work (PTW) briefs, HSE checklists and incident investigation reports for field ops
  • Maintain strict OT/SCADA cybersecurity and data-confidentiality boundaries in critical infrastructure
